Any channels are close to DJI's warehouses should get delivery first because of distance.
Anyone who placed orders directly from DJI might receive sooner. I think DJI will ship customer orders at the same time to channels.

I ordered mine Sept 30th.  I ask for some changes to my order, and the lady from DJI responded:
Thank you for contacting DJI online store and ordering the Mavic Pro.
Generally, the courier will call you if they cannot find you for delivery.
Meanwhile, we will start the shipping for the Mavic Pro around the middle of the October according the payment date.
We will try our best to ship the order out as soon as po ssible and will let you know the tracking number.
After shipped it out, it will take about 3 to 5 days for you to get the package. Thank you for your kindly patience.

It sounds like they are expecting shipment of mid October, so I would say they are waiting to receive their shipment in from the manufacturer before they ship.

Yep, got mine ordered on 30/09 through jessops. Jessops told me last time that they receive them at the same time as everyone else and courier next day delivery. DJI quote 3-5 days for delivery. Be interesting to see who starts to receive first

Man I hope thats Apple just playing it safe. My P4 was only on ebay a couple of hours before someone bought it for the buy it now! woopee, they are getting a great drone which has served me really well.. but not now the best. I cant wait.

I'm sure I heard they are available in Apple stores in November, so I assume that is when they receive stock.

I will have it shipped to CA as I will be there in November for ThanksGiving and will return back to the UK on November 27th .. $999.00 shipped massive savings than buying it in the UK

I ordered mine on Amazon the day after the announcement.   Vendor was Drone World I think.    Says I'll get it between Nov 1-15th.   

As with everyone else, it stated it was on a first order basis.

DJI Ken or someone else.. I ordered mine on the  30th and my order status is still saying "Payment Status:Authorized"  and has not changed to  "Payment Success". Is this normal for pre orders? Will it change to "Success" once we get closer to the release date?

Since it is preorder, so they just placed an authorization on your card, like they hold your money to take later. It prevents from you may not have enough money when they are ready to ship your order.

As tens of thousands are feeling the same way

Every time I check the various resellers for Mavic estimated shipping dates, the date slips some more.    Now most are saying shipping middle to late November.   

The demand must be healthy.

Ordered mine 9-27 at 19:42...would have been sooner but the DJI store order site crashed for about 3 hours...finally got it through...However, for those waiting...I remember when OSMO first came out. They had a ship date that kept getting pushed back so with all the pre-orders it wouldn't surprise me...we'll see. I'm sure I'll be happy with the wait anyways.

From DJI I ordered one battery and prop. Gonna get my Mavic from Best Buy as soon as it is available.

I heard it was 15th Oct ship and realistically plus 3 days or so for courier delivery. Given that they announced the drone a mere 2 weeks before ship...you would expect that they have a substantial number of units manufactured at that point and the units out there with vloggers look and behave pretty final at this point. So do we think they won't make their own ship date this late in proceedings?

I'm concerned it wont work with my phone (sony x performance) as the phantom 4 never did and others had that problem. THe batteries said 22 days to delivery.

I order mine on the 28th Of Sept but, thinking of cancelling the order and buying directly from Apple store here in Sydney.
If anything goes wrong with the drone I would want to send it all the way to the US for repair and pay for the delivery.

Sadly in the apply store there is no "bundle" with the additional batteries and the pack.

Sometimes shipping gets delayed. I don't know how many Mavics have been ordered but it's got to be at least a few hundred thousand.

On the Chinese website they have a raffle where you can win your order free of charge. My ticket is number about 67000, not sure if that means 67000 have already been sold in China alone.

Bit depressing being at least number 67000 in the queue if thats correct.
