I was wondering if i need to Update the Firmware in order to get the Tilt/Slider to work on my Phantom 2 H33D setup..  After powering up i  move the slider left and right and Tilt of the camera is doing absolutely nothing ????

I had / have the same problem, tried many things like the fixes you see on YOuTube, however none of them work. I also contacted DJI but they are unresponsive.
Faced with a worthless DJI purchase I have had to buy a New Futaba tx and am now working on setting it up to fly and work the gimbal.
Frustrating.

Did you make sure the gimbal option was enabled in the Assistant software?

Please try calibrating the x1 channel in your RC assistant ,

then connect  your Phantom to the Phantom 2 assistant->basic->RC->calibrate the x1 channel by clicking start and do the calibration.

I am having the same problem with the slider... It seems to do nothing.????
