What is the maximum speed you have personally flown your Inspire in so far? I know that most of you have been flying conservatively due to the current unavailability of prop locks.

I've flown with roughly 20 mph gusts at very low altitude in wide open areas but have not used my anemometers yet to satisfy your question. Manual gives the max wind speed resistance at 10 m/s or 22.4 mph if I'm correct.  I'm not interested in pushing it but it is nice to know what it feels like in various conditions.  I have flown plenty on days when it averaged 10 at ground level.  I prefer it relatively calm if I am going to go higher.  Suppose if you are experimenting then it not as much about finding the top of resistance but more about what you can expect to feel. At a few meters high and with big space margins you won't get any surprises while figuring that out. Of course you will have to parlay this for altitude above natural wind breaks.  I am going to try to do exact measurements to see how ground measurements correspond with its behavior when flying above wind breaks. People have surely already done this.  Like most things to do with wind it so variable and inconsistant that it really comes down to your visual appraisal of average conditions before flight.

Over 30 mph. It did well...but it's tough to see it bouncing around in the sky.

I had it up with 25knots.  It held until I put it in motion and it started to drift but I anticipated it.  You basically have to crab in a situation like that.  It really helps if you have a pilot's license.  You learn these things while training.

I don't know the official number. I myself had trouble to stand since the wind was pushing me so hard. Sometimes it was blown around. By using full power I was still able to fly relatively slowly against the wind. I really suggest to have a safe wind covered landing place. Vision positioning helped me there a lot (beside my rc skill x). Im satisfied with this performance.

My first flight was in 20+ wind speeds just couldn't wait, second flight was in 30+ no issues it just leaned into the wind to hold position.

25 wind constant, it was fighting for position and it did well.
Must say that it feels quit different without wind.

35 km/hr ie 22 miles/hr ground level
Was impressively stable
Much better than my phantom
I can only imagine in atti mode what a challenge I would have in my hands

Too much wind could be one of the fly-away reasons for copters.
If there is not much wind near ground means not much.
Last year on vacation in Greece I flew the phantom2 around
and I got risky.  Went up to 400m for a panorama shot  and suddenly the
P2 drifted In gps with very good coverage.

If this happens try to sink as fast as possible, would be interesting to
know if the inspire can sink faster in atti at high gusto. I guess so.
