hi there.

would like to improve my drone flying skill by using a simulator like LiftOff (on Steam) or Freerider to practice (am currently living in Beijing / a rather large no fly zone, so can only fly on weekends. The DJI simulator is rather boring after a few minutes.... ).

Did anybody find a way to connect the P4 remote to the Mac to use it as controller for simulators / games?
I did the HDMI module upgrade (to use the HDMI with FPV glasses) this got a Can Expansion port. Could this be used? any other thoughts?

wow, liftoff looks fun, i think ill get that and attempt to connect my controller to it.

did you try to use the usb port on your remote to connect to the computer? that might work.

I tried but neither mac nor any of the mentioned simulators can see the controller

The Phantom 4 was not programmed with the need to connect to a computer in that manner. I don't believe that you will be able to use it with a 3rd party software.

but, apparently you can use bluetooth controllers such as xbox 360, xbox one, ps3, or ps4 controllers.

Thanks for your responses. I had seen the posts at steam community. Had though hoped that a fellow P4 fan would have found a clever solution ;-)
