For the third time today I lost transmission while flying. Everything works fine except for being able to view what I am filming or photographing. One time I was taking photos while viewing them on my iPad mini, switched to video and immediately lost transmission. Earlier in the day, at lift off I lost transmission. I continued to make a 9 minute video without having a clue if I was captured my intended subject or not. As it turned out, the video was quite good! Any idea why I'm loosing transmission of my video feed? Some days it works perfectly.

Could you clarify what mobile device your using along with the Go app version you have? Have you ensured that your RC antennas are set for optimal transmission signal?

Hi Jamie! I'm not sure which Go app version I am using, I couldn't find where it tells. I have watched the orientation video before, and I did try changing the antenna, but it didn't help. I am using an iPad mini 2 with wifi only. I have completed quite a few flights with no issue at all. Again, everything worked perfectly except video transmission. All controls on the app were visible, and functioning. The one time when I switched from photos to video and lost transmission, the aircraft was hovering in one place.  Any and all advice gladly accepted.
(As a side note, I did not upgrade the Phantom 4 or the RC after reading issues with upgrades. I wanted to get enough flights on record so I would know what was normal for this aircraft. I was flying the Phantom 3 Standard model prior to this one.)

When running DJI Go have a look in the "General Settings" menu, at the bottom of this menu click on 'about'; that will list the software/firmware being used. Be aware that there was a problem regarding transmission on DJI Go V2.8.2 for IOS. So might be worthwhile doing all the upgrades.
