I purchased my Phantom 3 standard 2 weeks ago and have been flying it with no problems. Yesterday I updated the DJI GO app and my phantom will not fly above 30m without disconnecting from the app - no video or flight data. Remote control is not an issue.  It will fly fine horizontaly to 200m plus away from me in all directions with no wifi signal loss but no higher than 30m before wifi drops off. I have checked all settings and everything seems ok. I have iPhone 6S running ios10.  

I have tried this at various locations.

Hello koutsoubosj, have you upgraded aircraft and remote to the latest as well?
During flight, please adjust antenna to the optimal range:
