From the sky and the reflection off the lake. I was using a 4 stop ND filter with the camera set to manual. When I got this error message, "M. Exposure Mode Metering Disabled". Have never seen this message before, does anyone know it's meaning that can please explain it to me. Thanks,

That sounds like it was just reminding you that it was set to manual in case you had set it to manual by accident.

yes, u probablky tapped the screen, which would normally lock it to where u touched, but in manual mode that does not happen.
