i had my phantom (5.8) put up for a while and finally decided to take it flying. I connected it to the computer and when i tried to to a callibration, its not reading any movemet on the sticks. I tried to pair the phantom with the pairing button inside the battery compartmet. if i just try to turn on the phantom and the controller the drone shuts off like the battery is dead (its not). my controller does have a micro usb port but its inside the actual controller case. any ideas what it could be.

Hi jr03121982. please help clarify your aircraft's model. Maybe the assistant did not recognize your remote controller when connecting it to computer.
The battery is full-charged, right? would you please make a short video for us? thanks.

it's a phantom 2.0 model p330D. when i power it on, it goes between yellow and green but as soon as i power on the controller it flashes red now. ill make a video tomorrow

ok so now its just blinking red. when it first pops up it has 1 green light and then it goes red. i tried to do a compass calibration by flipping up and down the toggles but there is no response. any ideas?

Please try to download Naza-M Assistant for the aircraft, install it and then connect your phantom to your PC to check details through the assistant.

i have downloaded it. it recognizes the the phantom (i tested the propellers) but no movement on the transmitter shows up on the RC tab

Any suggestions?

Just to make sure, is the receiver set to DBus in the Naza Assistant Software? Are you able to confirm that the Assistant recognizes the aircraft by having green/blue LEDs at the bottom corner of the program? If it's connected and the receiver is set to DBus, then you will need to relink the RC to the aircraft. Could you happen to provide a picture of the bottom of the aircraft, so I can verify where the linking button is on your aircraft if need be?

Not sure what i did bt i finally am getting a response out of the transmitter. the naza program has the the green blue blinking. but now im getting an error message saying Configuration error, this may cause by firmware upgrade from old version.or abnormal Tx calibration. Re-calibrate your transmitter,and power cycle your controller and check all of the parameters.

Were you able to perform a RC calibration to eliminate the config error? I would also recommend performing an Advanced IMU calibration to ensure the sensors are reading properly. Also make sure that the aircraft type is still set to quad.
