I was seeing lots of possitive feedback on this app, so I've installed it and it really works ! Was sceptic at first, but after testing it I was convinced & using it every time before take off now:

YES!! I agree, it works! definitely worth the $8. I used it in around hills and went from 1300 feet distance to 3000 feet.

I've been hesitant to try this. I have to wonder what the downsides are. Maybe quicker battery drain on my iPhone? Or quicker drain on the WiFi Extender? Any noticeable difference with battery life?
And just so I understabnd, this increases the connection between the P2V+ and my iPhone so that I don't lose connection as often. Is that correct?

They were recently running a special on the app. I picked it up during a 3 day special for only .50 pence here in the UK, what a bargain! I have launched the app and used it however have not taking my bird out more than 850 feet distance wise. I have done numerous times prior to installing the app with rock solid performance. From what I understand it does work I just have to find a nice safe location to take my P2V+ out further regarding distance. As far as a difference battery consumption wise I have not notice anything significant. If it does what it claims in increasing FPV range what a bargain at .50 pence!

actually they claim it lowers the power, and uses an algorythm to minimize interference... so i've red somewhere in the reactions:

What also helps is to turn the potentiometer knob to the right (FCC compliance) if you are living in Europe. It made of for 300 additional meters or so

I'm not sure if I'll be trying this, they might be a reason DJI havent made it!

This app works well for me on my Vision+.

Without it, my FPV starts to freeze up around 1,200 feet.

With the app, I can get reliable FPV out to 4,000 feet --- assuming no major obstacles or other WiFi interference.

One important thing is to set FPV Preview Quality in Vision app to 15 fps or else you'll get freeze-ups at a shorter distance even using the booster app.

In the main menu settings of the Vision App. So, not when you are in the FPV view and tap the settings (gear). But when you back out of the FPV screen to the main menu, choose "Settings", then in the first group of options, choose "Preview Quality", then select one of the 15fps options. You can start with the 640x480 30fps, but if you still get lag or lose connection you can drop down to 640x480 15fps. And if all else fails go with the lowest setting of 320x240 15fps.   Hope this helps!

Just remember to boost everytime after powercycle.

They claim that the original setting is 20mw, and the booster set it to 40-50mw.  its good for 200mw they say.
Plus better algorithms of course.

So...you are supposed to run this in the background on your iPad/iPhone or whatever you are using, then open either their own or the original DJI app to get the FPV and all that, correct?

Great IOS APP, but crashed unexpectedl without loss of WIFI.  Wonder why?

i use it all the time works great
