yes. i saw many video about mavic pro and they have almost same interface with previous DJI drones.
so you can change control mode 1 or 2. dont worry bout that

Yes, just as timenudge said, you could choose Mode 1 or 2 through dji go app.

Presumably you can swap the throttle stick (non-return-to-centre) to the right as well?
