LOL Nobody knows when it will ship, the 15th is just a date plucked out of the air.
The only timescale DJI have said is an ESTIMATED shipping time of mid October for those who pre-ordered on the announcement day or just after.
You will get an email with tracking number when its shipped, until then just relax.....
And yes I am one of the ones waiting, ordered the morning of 29th, but I accept that it will come when it comes and no amount of new threads on this forum will make it arrive sooner.....

I just spoke to a sales representative and he told me my order is schedule to be shipped mid november plus 3 - 5 days shipping period.  I order the device on the 10/03

Actually they do state on their website that it will begin shipping October 15th.

BEGIN.  Begin does not mean all orders will magically appear appear on your doorstep on the 15th.  They will BEGIN to ship the orders at the maximum manufacturing rate that they can manage.

I would not expect to see a Mavic until mid November.

If they are shipping out from the factory yes, there are shipping pickups on Saturday in China.

Hopefully some of those P4 features will migrate to the Mavic too over time.  You might also be able to "tune down" some of the twitchy control gain in the Sport mode using the advanced settings.  We'll just have to wait and see.

I went to the flagship store in Shenzhen today, and they have it!
Well, not really. They said they have around 150 coming in next week, but most will be for those that pre-ordered there. The week after it should be possible to just go in and grab one.

I just wanted to see it before I make my decision. After having it in my hand, I know I want it as soon as possible.
They said they will receive them next week, but most likely only those that pre-ordered in the shop will get one. I might go there anyway again next weekend to see if I can get one. It's only 5 km from my home.

man, that only means my 2nd batch end of Oct-early Nov pre-order pickup will get shifted to later as well.
