I have a dji inspire 1v2, it has the quick release motors 3510h. I just got a pair of xoar carhon fiber blades and want to test them out. There is a fitting on top of the quick release assembly, can anyone tell me what fitting it is and where I can get a tool to remove it.
Thanks,

Rchjr

Ok , what lock system do you have on the Aircraft Now ?  Can you take a picture ?  Is it perhaps the 1345 T Props and locks ?
My experience with carbon fiibre blades , More  noise and less flight time , slightly more aggresive in climb.  In my opinion , not worth it.  Also can shatter on impact where the plastic more prone to bend and chip but not shatter .

I have the quick release system that has the 3510h motor. There is a what looks like kind of a allen looking fitting that has to come off. I believe these are the 1345 t props.

Thanks for replying

Those are simple to remove with an allen wrench, but you are going to need the other type of locking mechanism to Use the other types of prop .   Go to like Amazon and type in 1345 props and  locks and 1345 T props and locks , they are different.  Where did you get these props from that you have ?

You will need a 2.0 mm T handle Allen device to remove the locks ( Hardware Store )  Be SURE  to get the proper locks for your props .  Once again, I dont think you will like them , but to each there own.

I did not realize it was an allen, I thought it was a different kind. My Costo readers just arn't doing it for my eyesight anymore.

I got the Xoar carbon fiber props as a gift and want to see what the difference between the two was. I have read some post on these props and what I have read seems to indicate they are a nice set. They do come with a way to lock the props.

Thanks for your response,

Rchjr

Here is a good thread regarding carbon props.  This is ONE way they can be mounted. ( Pic Below )  also there are other Locks as well.
