I have already pre-ordered on 03/10 but looking at the other threads it may not turn up for a while.  I have a fly more combo on order with Amazon UK, can I still buy the care package from DJI?

Sure, you just take the S/N number from your Mavic, no matter where you bought it. Just remember, you need to complete it before 48 hours pass.

I think it must have something to do with fraudulent claims, it was the same for P4 and inspire, also the did have an option about 3 months after P4 came out that you could get insurance, but you just had to jump through so many hoops to get it, it just wasn't worth it..

Well it's not available here in Malaysia anyway, I was just curious.

Conventional insurance companies have long figured out how to cover likely events while making a profit with reasonable premiums. Just seems somewhat crude to put a time limit, as though that would really mitigate anything?
