Hi Guys,

I have just receive my drone today, however after sending in for warranty claim from DJI, i receive back the same drone and they have repaired the smoke coming out from the gimbal. However, there are a few things to highlight,

After successful pairing with the RC,
1.) there are no image shown on the ipad, it states " no image transmission signal"
2.) in the aircraft status it says gimbal disconnected
3.) when i off the drone, it takes much longer to shut down comparing to before "after pressing the battery off button twice, it takes another 10second for the drone to off completely"
4.) there are obvious dents on the VPS sensor steel frame
5.) there are obvious dents on the VPS plastic frame
6.) the serial number sticker on the drone shows like it have been removed and then re-stick back to the drone.

I suppose, DJI have not fixed the drone completely and sent it back to me. It is costly for me to ship the drone to Hong Kong, and whats more i have missed the date in receiving the drone to do my video shooting. Thus can DJI please arrange to collect the drone for repair again. Please repair it thoroughly this time. My previous drone was perfect and all you need was to change the shell, but you gave me a repaired refurbished drone, and the gimbal smoked after 2 flights. Am greatly disappointed in this.

Another DJI customer service fumble.
I feel for you, my drone came back w/o a serial number sticker, different colored arm bands & it was filthy..

Could you please provide me with your previous case number?
I'll help to look into it.
Could you please clarify the version of your IPAD?
Have you tried to change a original lightning cable to link your IPAD with RC?
Also please unplug the gimbal's 6 pin and 8 pin cables and plug it again.

Case Number: CAS-269035-W3J0X8
IPAD version : Ipad Air IOS 9
Yes am using original lightning cable and also new lightning cable
didn't try to unplug and replug the gimbal, am worried i will damage the drone more or something.

Besides those, there are dents on the VPS metal ring and the VPS Plastic case. Obviously it is knocked or damaged not by me.

Please help to get DJI to collect the drone for warranty repair as it is considered as DEAD ON ARRIVAL. I have already pass all the details to Alice from DJI support.

Hi, it's doesn't hurt to unplug the gimbal's 6 pin and 8 pin cables.
If the error persists,I think you still need to send it in for further evaluation.
I'll help to escalate your case,also please try to check the cables and let me know the result.Here is the image for your reference.
