Dear DJI

At this point in time, panoramas shot with the Osmo / Osmo Mobile (Not sure about the Osmo+ as I don't have one) show inconsistent exposure between stitched frames, which results in dark banding across the panorama. This is caused by the way auto-exposure works, and any experienced photographer shooting panoramas or doing multi-shot stitching will tell you that it is highly recommended to use the same exposure settings across all frames.

As such, could you please pass my suggestion to your app developers to add the ability to
a. lock exposure
b. allow exposure compensation (+/- 1 and +/- 2 EV)

Locking exposure will eliminate the dark bands between stitched frames
Exposure compensation will allow users to reduce/increase exposure if there is over/underexposure in their pano image. This will prevent highlights from being unrecoverable, and users can use regular apps to push shadows where necessary.

Thanks

Can't you just put the camera into manual mode and accomplish what you want?

Hi, just switch to Manual, then you can lock to a certain exposure you choose
