I agree with Maverick. The Chinese just can't pronounce it so it's named Mavic!!!

On the opposite, we forwent the name 'Maverick' cuz we wanna embarrass u guys to pronounce 'Mavic'!!!!And u guys surely can't.

That is true! I saw a review and one guy just couldn't get the name right. It took me a bit of time at first to get  the pronunciation correct. Not my wife though see has a Masters in Chinese Literature  and a teaching degree for any Canadian school in Canada.
