First post on here, tried to reply on the other shipping post but apparently it is closed now.

If DJI are indeed shipping on a first come, first served basis (I am by no means anywhere near the front of the queue), then would it no be possible for them to inform people of which batches in which regions are being dispatched at present.  I do not see this as a huge challenge.

I am not anticipating getting mine anywhere in November but just trying to see where some information could be passed out to the customers to prevent phone calls, cancelled orders thinking they can get it quicker elsewhere and just good business.

I understand the first two numbers of order number are county by telephone code and then sequential order number.

Does this sound feasible ?

baby steps young padawan. They've just announce they started shipping.  Can't expect them to give you a time window if you aren't in the first group just yet.  

Yeah, I know they aren't just Mavic otherwise it would be more successful than an iPhone launch.  But for example - We will be sending all orders from xxxxx1000 to xxxx2500 before Nov 10 say would at least appease the hungry crowds.  I spoke to DJI earlier on and they explained that they had not shipped any as yet.  As explained in OP, if I get mine in November it would be very surprising and I also will not be about until sometime in December so resigned myself to sometime mid December for mine.

Just read post after endless post the other day on people that seemed to be very anxious about getting theirs and whether  or other distributors would be getting first.  Was not expecting a window for myself.

They are shipping first come first as long as you didn't buy the combo, if you did ,your screwed like me.

If you ordered the "Fly Less Combo"... they are not shipping it, all the shipped orders are about the Mavic Pro only.

Good lord.  It's currently 11:50 pm there.  The announcement was made late in THEIR day.  I'm sure these hot little suckers are getting shoved in cargo bays on 747's but for crying out loud, it's almost the wee hours of Saturday there.  Cool your jets till Monday sometime and see where things are.

I'm certainly glad shipping has started, I'm sure soon all the early preorders will start getting shipment notifications.

Haha.  I bet you are!

I'm sure DJI is turning out mavics like pez candy and I highly doubt they'll stop the shipping process, so we'll all be flying mavics very soon!

That's for sure.
I just urge everyone while they're waiting to read the manual cover to cover, and then again when you receive the Mavic.
For new users who have never flown a multirotor, it is extremely easy BUT you need to fully know it's features, functions, and it's limitations.

Hi Motty you haven't said when you placed your order, it's my thinking after first batch is shipped , a quick email or go on the chat lines, and they may be able to give you a timeframe, similar happened with some Osmos , and the shipping info was easier to get once initial shipping was started,

I bought a combo 29th, and I know they are saying here you are screwed if you ordered a combo, but nobody has had any confirmation about what they are saying, it's just speculation, if they really want to know they should contact sales as their been asked to, I intend to contact sales on Monday or Tuesday to see if I can get more concrete info,

Like you I'm not impatient, but it helps if there is a timeframe, good luck

Its not just speculation - i'm 27th - 16:3x:xx UTC and pretty confident i'm quite far at the top of the queue and haven't been shipped yet (because its a bundle).
Sales is f**** useless, they cant tell us anything either through lack of knowledge or actually being directed to keep their mouths shut.



Also they arent repoding to live chats that you open from your order page or mavic related xD had to start a new session on the phantom 4 page to get a reply!

The fly more bundle should have been renamed to the fly more later bundle, hahah

I've actually been chill with them - the lack of communication is what is starting to wind me up but no i've spoken to them 4-5 times and its always "we don't know any better".
Actually my last chat they started palying dumb - they told me that pre-sales doesnt deal with orders in flight...

Look I actually think your order will ship soon , I contacted chat line and they said mine is likely to ship early November, I purchased on 29th,  

It's extremely irritating that I spent more money to buy the combo and people who ordered their drones without a combo _after_ I placed my order are receiving shipping notices.  Extremely poor customer service and transparency on the part of DJI.

There must be a slight delay in one of the components that's bundled with the fly more. I know it's easy for me to say as mine is shipped. But chillll it will be shipped very soon I'm sure!

The combo wasnt even a good deal which is why I didnt go for it. Didn't need the bag, didn't need the car charger...that alone is $130 worth of stuff I just wouldn't use. I'll probably just buy two more batteries when they get released and be done!

No they are NOT. I ordered the Mavic only within the first hour, yet people are getting shipment notices from the 28th while I have none.

It does suck a bit, i think it has to do with combo pack, I hope not, would seem unfair on those who ordered right of the bat not to be in the first shipment, I don't mind waiting, I have P4 which is great.

I wonder if it's spare batteries that's holding them up. I included an extra battery in my order placed 0400z on the 28th, I don't have a tracking number but some later people do.
