I am pretty sure that your priority is determined when the payment went through and not the order time. Wouldn't be 'business wise' to reserve a drone for a customer who have not yet paid. I know it would be customer friendly but after all, it's DJI.

I ordered on Sept 28th, payment went though on Sept 29th a.m. No news about the shipping itself. It's sad to see that people who ordered on NewEgg two days after me got their shipping number. It's worst when you realize that people who got the combo on the first few hours got no news too. I think it's gonna be a good learning for everyone; never pre-order from DJI.

Because you get your order number it doesn't mean DJI will ship following this date. It's only a transaction number so they can follow the process with you if you get any issues.

The situation right now is a good way the explain that since people who ordered on 27th got their tracking after people who ordered on 28th because their payment went through before them. I did ordered Sept 28th in the morning. People who ordered it at night got their tracking number while I have no update at all. My payment was process the day after.

Bestbuy will ship on Oct 31st

For those who don't know, NewEgg has been sold to a Chinese company in September 2016.  The buyer is a huge company in China, and they focus is going to be on VR, AR, and Drones.

DJI Mavic launch seems to be the first product under NewEgg's new ownership and growth strategy.

I ordered from Best Buy on 9/28. No update on my end.

Excited to see everyone getting shipping notices for the first batch.
Sad to hear combo bundles not really shipping out yet but understandable with the extra accessories as I'm in that group.
Can't wait to see more videos from new owners next weekend.

I order mine from Best Buy it say I will get it by October 31st

When did you order?

My order was processed at 17:24  9/28 and paid for immediately.  Bank statement reflects this.  No word other than the non informational update.  If you didn't expect the delay when ordering remember when ordering next time.  When a company owns the majority of market share this unfortunately is the standard.  When you get a reply from CS stating " if you're not happy we'll be glad to cancel your order"  then you know who owns the market.  No reason to be upset, and don't be surprised when it happens again.

Dont feel bad lol, I ordered from B&H on the 27th and will not actually get it till probably sometime after Nov 1st due to the multiple holidays they have been on....

I dont know about winning. My tracking number now says invalid on newegg website, when yesterday it showed packaging. It still isnt showing up on FedEx website either. I ordered on october 1st. I seen a guy that ordered on the 6th and his tracking number is active and says he will get it in the 26th. Everything in paypal shows completed as well, Nothing pending anymore. I contacted newegg, they cant figure out what happened and emailed dji. Maybe it will update on monday I'm hoping. The invoice still shows shipped, but my tracking number has no info, when yesterday it had info on newegg.

When will the combo orders start shipping out?

Not worried about customs. I've ordered from them before and didn't have any problems with customs here in the US.  The iPhones are also shipped from China and never have had an issue either.

Please advise why you haven't shipped a single unit to Australia, despite shipping many other orders who ordered a long time later?

I also ordered from Australia. Haven't seen any sent her as of yet. Didn't order mine until 1/10 so be down the line. Maybe they put them in bigger batches down here to save on their shipping?

I ordered the combo on 29/09/16. No sign of shipping.

Is it the case that no combos have shipped? So those of us who spent more with DJI have to wait even longer?

Yep, I didn't order the combo though. Know there been a delay on them. See what happens during the week. Hopefully we see them soon. Maybe you get the first one shipped in Australia

Just waiting for the mavic combo pack to come in time. Will be using it during my wedding for the birds eye view pics and video. Wish it could come quciky to do some testing.....

Have they charged your card yet? I ordered through the official DJI store on Amazin too and although they said I was in the first group to order I have see nothing of an update to my order. It still says expected by Oct 26 but I don't think that's going to happen.

I ordered mine on October 5th from Bestbuy. I'm a Bestbuy employee and I've been checking our shipping warehouse and we haven't received any of the Mavics yet. Bestbuy will only open up pre orders if they're going to receive that number of inventory. If they won't receive more of the inventory, they close down the pre order for a temporary while until they have confirmation from the manufacturer that they will be receiving more. Can't say exactly how many were pre ordered for legal reasons but it was a huge amount
