The Mavic pro will be my first drone.  Very excited, however I'm wondering if flying it in the winter/cold weather would be an issue. Can any drone veterans speak on past experience?

The aircraft/camera/battery operating temps are listed on the specs page.

If you are going to fly in cold weather, keep the batteries warm and when you take off, hover for a minute to get the battery up to temp.

I was out flying below freezing with my P3P last winter and while it flew fine, my iPad got too cold and shut off. I don't know about the Mavic's transmitter/controller, but I am guessing that it is also using lithium batteries, which would mean that it is going to have a similar operating temperature range.
