I ordered a mavic today and I assume that I will be in the "2nd batch." Anyone have any guesses for ship date?

You are not in the second batch, second batch is the fly more combos that were ordered at the beginning.  You might see yours mid November to late November.  They have tonnes of orders to get through with earlier.  Unless you ordered through a reseller.
