Is the current KP index an issue when I fly DJI drone New mavic owner I hope. Waiting for pre order delivery????  If so what level do I need watch for??

The KP Index is the geomagnetic storm index. It tells you how much the Sun's radiation is effecting Earth's atmosphere. A rating of 0 is perfect, but as you go up the scale the more GPS accuracy is effected. It's recommended you don't rely on GPS if the Index is over 4. I've flown in a 4 rating and the craft was wandering more than 5m (not a DJI product).

There is an app you can download and it just puts the rating (a single digit) on your phones status bar.
