Yea I figured it out. Went ahead and ordered it. Probably wont be here before my original DJI order but what the heck maybe it will still beat my fly more package ordered on the 10/3.

I just canceled my order also but filed a dispute directly with paypal instead of dealing with their pathetic customer service
Apple showing shipping 6-7 weeks
Amazon shipping Dec 1st
Best buy still showing oct 31st

Amazon have said my mavic combo will be here on the 4th of November but that can change

10% is still an option if you apply for their credit card. I was too lazy to read 20 pages of terms. But they didn't look attractive at a glance.

I canceled DJI order and placed a new one on BB, they still promise 10.31 delivery. And they give $20 sort of gift card to spend online. Also I think I can live without DJI bag, that's $79 off. Taxes $62 in MA.

This is what's wrong with the pre-orders. We have people pre-ordering for 2-3 different places. Now they have to make 3 mavics to fill one pre-order. If 10000 people actually want Mavics and are doing what you are doing. Dji thinks they have to build 20000-30000 causing this delay...

depends, if you pay with PayPal credit you get 6 months to pay.

Hopefully drone batteries will not explode like in Galaxy

So what, DJI can still ship items as they build. They don't have to wait and ship all orders at once. The problem is they don't build. Or, may be, they have different priorities, like the biggest orders first. Hopefully that's BestBuy

Ordered combo with DJI 09/28. I am fed up now. I started ordering on other sites as well, we'll see what ships first. Will be a nightmare with cancellations and / or returns for DJI and retailers, but I consider this DJI's  fault.

I just checked BB warehouse inventory. They just got it. There release date is 10/30 and shipping will begin 31st

I preorder from Best Buy and they just charged my card today so I'm guessing they are prepping to ship an Oct. 31 batch

Technology and competition will catch up to DJI.....and customer service and fulfillment will be the deciding factor for purchases, which DJI is lacking.

For those of you living outside of US and order the Fly NO more combo pay with PayPal.  If you decided to file dispute or like to cancel your order with DJI.  Do it FAST!  Regardless DJI will pull you out from the queue immediately you file dispute, even you cancel your order or successfully claim your money back, there will be a huge currency charge for this both way transaction if over 30days period.  You look at approx US$100!  Today is 25, there is two more days left and you will charge this currency different.  WATCH OUT folks,

Can you check the Canadian BestBuy inventory?

DJI doesn't care about customers at all as they have orders beyond their expectation because they have a great product. Best example - I was banned from their Mavic Pro & DJI Owners group along with DJI Support page for asking why commit on a date of shipping when they actually can't

So, basically their way of treating customers is 'regardless of what we say & promise, you guys shouldn't ask us anything - even if we don't update you guys on anything'

Sad but true!

That's not how production works.

Surely if this guy is a director he can demand an update of the status there and then !!
