Nice, congratulations.And you can use the done to film as well, you'll just get better quality with it removed.
If you are doing any close quarters FPV then leave it on for protection.

Canadians always get the nice things first. Sigh.

Im sure you've figured this out by now, but to turn on the Mavic, press the button once, then press it again and hold for 2 seconds.

I'm not sure you understand the difference between Customer/Sales Support and Technical Support. These are different roles with different goals. Yes, Technical Support people need to have good CS skills.. But their job isn't to answer your impatient harassing posts about shipping delays.

Please, take that negativity elsewhere, else you will get banned by Mods soon enough and won't be able to participate in useful discussions once your Mavic does arrive.

You need to press twice the battery button to power it on. On short and one longer press.

Exactly, The forum will not tolerate comments like that.
And, most people here are new users and will definitely be needing this and other sites when they are flying their aircraft and in need tech support.

I just really hope that everyone read the manual cover to cover at least a few times and practices in a large open area.
I'm sure that there will be many crashes that could have been easily avoided.
And I also suggest everyone to purchase DJI Care Refresh so that oops moment will be covered.

My DJI status went to WAITING PICK. Hopefully this is good news? Hard to tell. I thought I knew what this meant.

I would have read the instructions first instead of getting right into it like that.

SO for you to get the Mavic you have to have a youtube channel, brag about the drone and one then you can get

Today I asked about my order status, which hasn't changed, shipping is still pending, even though I ordered my mavic on sept 27th!!!! And this is the answer i got:

Basically they are saying that i may not even get my mavic before someone who ordered it later than me!!!???

Hey I glad you received the Mavic and as you said this is his first drone, I watched the video twice and  I can't help but notice "Read The Manual"
