I havent used it yet, but I noticed a rattling noise on the inside, should this be of a concern? sounds like a screw or something is loose on the inside, Anyone else with a Mavic have this? Maybe its normal? I dont think its the gimbal or camera either.
Video Below of noise

Thanks for the help!

I spoke with DJI and they said to return it, unfortunately the wait for repair is more than two weeks, so I am just going to have it refunded. Well atleast I had it for a few hours hahah

N3VO, Sounds like you have the same luck as me. Spend a lot of money and in turn get a defect.

Can you unfold the arms and remove the gimbal lock.  Take the battery out and check to make sure that there is nothing inside the battery housing.  Also remove the props and make sure that they are firmly attached to the craft.  Let us know what you find.

Update! So I did that, and with the gimbal cover off, I tilted it and actually heard ( I think whatever it was drop out and hit the table) looking for the piece currently but theres a rug below, so this could be awhile! I am assuming it fell through the little vent holes behind the gimbal?  I am checking to see if the noise is gone and so far I cant get it to happen anymore, do you think flight would be okay now?

If you are mechanically inclined I would carefully open it to see if it just a lose or extra screw. ...

I would not recommend opening up any product (ie undoing a screw), usually that voids the warranty right then and there.

After digging around the rug I found the little screw, what do you guys think? will the Mavic be fine without this screw inside?

What could have happened is during assembling them the assembler could have dropped the screw, but got another screw to screw in.

Best I can tell is the screw has patchlock (blue material on threads) that does not appear to have been disturbed. Possibly an extra that they might have dropped inside and they installed another.

Best to wait and see what tech support has to say before exploring the internals, as noted, it can void the warranty.

If he opens the Mavic that will void his warranty.  We do not recommend that.  If there is a flight issue then send it in.  You have documented the issue.

Look around the outside where it would go. I doubt its internal for that fact that it came out.

it came out of the vents behind the lens as soon as I took the gimbal shield off and titled and shook it gently it fell out, it was definitely in the drone before that.

i think that it should not be a big problem. most things in the drone have several screws to hold them down and this might not be a big problem. do a couple careful test flights and if there are no problems i suggest to continue using it but if the slightest change happens that is not supposed to happen, immediately suggest returning it.

The fact that it has 242 threadlocker (or the Chinese equivalent) tells me it was never installed and was likely dropped just prior to the assembler grabbing another.
