Got the Ronin M and mine also drifts over time.  For the quality of this thing.. why didn't anyone at DJI test the firmware first for this roll probelm?

So I am having an issue with the pan and roll axis drift. Never did it before the firmware upgrade. Now i set my center point, first the pan drifts immediately every time. I can even set the deadband to zero like customer support recommends and it still drifts. Then within 10-15 minutes my roll axis will be off significantly. It always seems to roll up higher on the right side. Customer support told me to install teamviewer 9 on my computer and provide them with a password. This sounds like remote desktop access. Is this really the solution?

At this point I really want to sell and pick up a Movi system. This Ronin is costing me clients and money. Not to mention that customer support is a joke as witnessed on these forums.

In addition to the problems with drifting on both the pan and roll, the android app is completely useless now. I went out and purchased a samsung tablet to bundle in with my Ronin kit. In my email with technical support they tell me to use apple. I am sorry but this is not acceptable.

Can anyone please send me the proper way to roll back the firmware? Step by step guide? My email is: Playerpat0@yahoo.com

Have been using ronin since downgraded to IMU 2.1 without any issue. This morning just upgraded the firmware from 2.1 to 3.0 and the roll drifting came back again. Please i need to downgrade it to firmware 2.1 Anyone can help please?

My is working awesome after the latest update.. I never wanted to updated after reading all these threads but did it anyway and my Ronin M worked flawless all day today...

I'm having the same issue posted above. My Ronin with FW 3.0 looses the roll horizon after a couple of minutes. I just upgraded because I wanted to use the thumbcontroller. So now I can choose between that and a stable roll axis? What a shame ...

Can someone send me a link to FW 2.1 please?

PS Tired of you, DJI. You are the worst company with totally unfriendly and a very very long custumer support! I hate the day I bought this Ronin instead MoVI ! Using your product for more then 1 year and it was never function properly! I'll never buy any of your product for my production.

As like everyone else, same issue here. The director said today that we should just leave out the Ronin and look for another solution... Making me look like a total amateur. Good job DJI!

Any chance that someone can just send me the downgrade FW and authorise my serial number - richard@submotion.net

I have the same issue and DJI hasn't been helpful in fixing it.  The only exception way they say they can help us to remotely control my computer to give me the downgraded firmware. But the can ONLY DO IT ON A PC!  Which is crazy because the entire film industry uses mac. Needless to say I have a nearly useless Ronin now.  If anyone can send the old firmware to me I'd be so thankful. Gabrielkimpson@gmail.com

Right now, downgrading can only be processed by our technical specialist.
If you need our help to downgrade, just please add the Skype ID: shuang.zou123, the operation time is 9AM to 6PM in China. In addition, please prepare a Window 7 for the downgrading.

We would try to provide a better solution ASAP. Thanks for your understanding!

And the annoying thing is that they don't really 'recommend' they insist!
Their only solution is to send the gimbal in, not even to try to see if what worked for you all could possibly work for me, like their software is the world's first bug-free set of code...
Anyway, I digress...
Please, please someone share the older Ronin-M firmware and Gimbal software, DJI is okay with that, just so long as they aren't the ones sharing... ugh!
