Most of these threads are about problems associated with the new Mavics. I think we'd like to hear from the one's who have the new Mavic and have nothing wrong with it. Everything works as it should.  So if you have a Mavic that is truly a joy with no problems, could you take a break from it long enough to share with us how it's going. It would be nice to hear the good rather than the bad. Myself, I'm still waiting. But I figure the longer I wait the better the quality.

Agreed! Let's here some positive stories. I'm sure they far outweigh these few issues people are having. I hope...

Everything great here. Mavic has been great so far. Using it with Android oneplus 3 phone.

Same here, have flown it 4 times with no issues. Steady as can be and very responsive. Have not pulled the SD out to look at footage, but will do that today.

My Mavic is perfectly fine. I calibrated everything before I took my first flight and updated the firmware Now I'm just waiting on additional batteries. =)

My Mavic has been working perfectly since I got it. I calibrated everything and updated the firmware right after opening it. I will be getting a few extra batteries as soon as they become available this thing is so much fun to fly. I did take it out in 32f (0 c) for about 20 minutes the other day and had zero trouble flying it around.

at least we have some positive stories.

Yes, finally it's nice to hear good things. I feel better waiting for mine, and I'm sure DJI will be glad to see this too instead of all the negatives they have been getting.

Thank you all.  My Mavic has been perfect from day one.  I could not be happier.  Taking it on a road trip on Wednesday.

Reassuring news!  God knows I needed to see some after all the doom and gloom around delivery dates and failures.  Even if I receive it for Christmas I'll be one happy drone-head

It is very good news, but why are there stories of complete control failure, spinning etc and these great stories of no issues.
For me its the concern of inconsistency that is more worrying. Until I hear that there is an understanding of the issues reported and relative fixes I will not be spending my £1000+
Tbh, I can't wait to get my hands on a Mavic, but reliability for a expensive aircraft like this is paramount for me, as I am sure it must be to many others.

I hope DJI come up with solutions very quickly, and make a lot of noise about the fixes to build confidence that flying a Mavic is safe and controllable.
I admit to only be a novice droner, only having a Parrott AR drone 2 thus far, but that never felt out of control and went exactly where I wanted it to go.

Same here, all good. Mavic is great but I'm running Android 7 on a Nexus 6P and the DJI Go app will not connect. iOS is fine.

Someone has to try them out before they go to the public. Why not employees, or the people who review their products. Not to mention the 1000's and 1000's of followers they have who will watch the review and then in turn decide whether or not to buy one. Goes for any product with an internet presence.

From what I have gathered from all who posted on here that had good luck. They all did the calibrations and the firmware update. Perhaps the others didn't do one of them. Firmware update is scary if you follow the Phantom 3 threads.
