Hi, why there is no livestreaming on facebook for Osmo Mobile?

as far as i know u cant use the DJI GO to do it...but u can use the facebook app on the phone

Not sure why ppl like to use FB live. Quality is crap and only supports portrait video, which makes it even worse.

Facebook Live Video is neither portrait nor landscape, it's square. So you can hold your mobile phone in portrait or landscape and the video will be square and upright no matter what. Apparently they have come to the conclusion that square videos are great because they fit on all mobile phone screens with room at the bottom for comments, etc. In other words Facebook didn't choose the square format arbitrarily. And while I have problems with Facebook Live, the resolution is much better than Periscope.

I believe that only applies to iOS, since android can only shoot in portrait mode.

Yes, but I lose the track mode... cool stuff for b'day maybe

Sorry, it wouldn't be there for a while, Facebook doesn't allow us to use their live streaming.

Because Phantom is a drone, so Facebook allows it. But Osmo Mobile is shooting with the phone's camera and they regard cellphone their territory and doesn't allow it

It's possible, that's what DJI plans to do with DJI Go app. It starts from the Skypixel community
