I understand that you have to apply for DJI care within a very short time of activating your new drone. My question is: If you are given a replacement drone, are DJI saying this is as good as new. If so, shouldnt you be able to take out DJI care on the replacement as soon as you get it? I only ask cos mine is with DJI atm and im expecting a replacement and would like to have DJI care now.

To confirm the info, you have not bought the DJI care for your previous aircraft, but recently you sent it in for some problems to DJI and will get an replacement, you want to buy DJI care for this replaced aircraft once you receive it soon, right?

That's correct. Assuming they replace it. I'm still waiting for a repair update.

Seems like a replacement will be sent so the question still stands if DJI Natalia or any other admin has any thoughts.

Yes you can get DJI Care on the replacement P4, I just did it. If you email DJI Care they will make it possible without having to provide a video once you submit the new serial number when you order the care package.
