Does anyone know how long it takes to get the tracking number after its changed to "Shipped"?

Dji took everyone's cash to deposit into their bank accounts, could you imagine how much interest they get in 2months ? Enough to build all mavics for everyone

I think the money is not the problem.
DJI is such a big standing company on drones. They defenetly got money to swim in it!
I think its the number of orders.
No company in the world can look in the future how many orders/pre-orders they get.
I heard about 3,8 Million Pre-Orders "Worldwide".
If this is true i dont think they pre-produce 3,8 Million Units

I think it's better off that they say they took the money to get interest than what they are doing now. Enough money to swim but not build 3million drones. Anything can be done with the right amount of money. Money talks in this world! And to add on top of it they are building these drones in china, I'm sure there's enough man power there to build 50mil drone but are they will to fork out the money that's the question

Yes but DJI does not Produce all Parts of the Mavic in their house.
So there are different "outproducers" in this boat.
That takes time too.

There is no official announcement from DJI nor from APPLE that preorders would be delayed to next year. All preorders still show "ships in November". It is only if you order now that you might not except it before end of this year. I am however worried that it might happen that APPLE eventually announces that preorders would also be further delayed, but so far, we don't know.

Hey Ken now that Trump won would I be getting my order since Trump don't want to have china product in the USA I am worry if my shipment would be delay because of his electoral winning.

yip. conrad.de just pushed there date out again. they have no clue ... playing the game of let customers buy and push the date out. reaching the point of not really wanting the mavic that much.

I would be embarrassed if my company had such lack of information given out to customers. Its pretty easy to give out some numbers of total order number and production rate. Why don't they do that?

Hey Linsenfest I am very happy you got yours and in the same date as mine, but I am a bit sadden with the whole purchase thing with this because if we are the online clients there should be a what ever policy that they have first come first serve and this does not seem like it, I hope you get your soon and start flying and enjoy the aircraft which I know you would.

exacty. DJI time to act like a reasonable human being and tell people how are really distributing.

even if that hurts us a bit because you optimize to save costs.

Yeeehaaa! Mine is shipped as well. Ordered on the 3rd of October. It's currently being shipped to The Netherlands and will arrive Monday the 14th. Not too bad I would say. And remember "Waiting is half the fun!"

My status has not change in more than a month now. Yesterday some people got their status to shipped and they order the same day I did with later time table and earlier time table... I hope it changes this week because it is getting annoying that some people are getting their aircraft the same day I order mine. I will be in New York City visiting my family for thanksgiving...

Oh no doubt I am happy for you guys that order now in oct and getting your aircraft I am thinking that they send a huge shipment to European orders. Because mine is going to America and I am going to pick up there since I will be visiting my family back home in New York city for Thanksgiving.

I also received the tracking number, expected on the 14th as well

Yes i thought this seemed like a bit of a push on shipping. It does look like on the whole if you ordered in the first two weeks these orders are now shipping out. So most will get theirs by mid Nov which is what the updated info from DJI said.

Well I ordered on the 29th October with my local dealer and he has no clue when they will be turning ...

Dont get your hopes up, that's a full month after I ordered. I placed my order 28th September with my local dealer (Ireland), he placed his full order a couple of days later. The earliest we've been told is 'mid November' but it keeps getting put back. This is an official DJI reseller, so surely should be treated the same as people who ordered off the site.

If you look at previous Shipments they get it faster then it shows on tracking info

Just received email from support and he says they are still shipping for order paid on sept 28, either he is misinformed or they are shipping not following order date. Pattern now seems to be mavic pro with no combo orders and international.  Combos are behind but atleast there is something happening, we are luck we did not get recalled like the gopro karma, those duded must be really mad!

My order was made 28th of September and i ordered the Combo package direct via DJI Europe online shop.
For the moment i have the apologies letter...!!
I dont mind waiting but i do mind that i have paid cash 2 months ago!!
I would expect some kind of "freeby" for us that we trusted in DJI before everyone else!

I'm in the UK, having ordered from 'Drones Direct'.  I ordered about 4 weeks after my colleague did and both our delivery dates changed to 16th December.  His from 11th November, mine from 21st November.  So as far as this particular reseller goes - it doesn't seem to matter if you ordered first or not.

I am also in the UK and ordered from Drones Direct on the 4th OCT and my order also showing Expected Delivery:  16/12/2016

Even though it showing Delivery from Thurs 1st Dec on the selling page!

Last I looked, the shared google sheet with international orders had 1713 entries - of which around only 140 orders had shipped.  That's less than 10%, and for some orders that are more than 2 months old.  That's terrible.  I've purchased 2, but am now reconsidering my purchase.  I'm not interested in being out of pocket for 2 months with nothing to show for it - irrespective of how cool the drone appears to be.  Such a small % being despatched, there could well be a big spate of problems that are YET to be realised.

No I was one of those idiots who handed over even more money to DJI for a combo... An extra £349 buys you a third rate service with DJI....
