The phantom 4 is excellent  love to fly, is everything it said it was, excellent pictures, only problem for me is the format of the videos, as it is hard to share these videos without going through a video converter which is verytime consuming, has anyone have a opinion on this

hmmm ... .MOV and .MP4 are pretty standard video formats now-a-days. How are you trying to share them which is requiring a video converter? Maybe you dont have the right media player, or video codec installed? Can you share more detail so folks here can help? Even both those formats can upload to youtube and vimeo with no issues.

I am puzzeled about the converter idea.

I record my phantom videos in mp4 format
and they play directly in all of my windows pc's and my NVidia shield

windows media player will play, GomPlayer will play. VLC will play ... all no issues

is it possible you are not stopping the video record before shutting off the phantom
if you don't stop record the files will not close out and wont play....

put sd back in phantom if you did and then make short 30 second video and it may fix the first one..

Any of the normal social media sites will want to re-format your video clips anyway, to suit their own format. But MP4 and MOV formats are normally acceptable to just about any site. What sites are you having trouble with?

WHEN i play videos from phantom 4 half the video is dark green, so you are getting half the video, not really up on this stuff, thanks for the help

How are you playing them?   If you are playing directly off the SD card that is your problem.   Copy them to your hard drive first.

thanks, can you give me directions on how to copy the video to the hard drive, instead of using the sd card direct, this will really help me out  THANKS

Buy an adapter, remove the sd card from your Phantom, put it in the adapter, put the adapter in your computer and coup the file.
