This is the DJI forum and it belongs to DJI.
It's meant to be here for a positive experience to assist users with technical question or issues they have with their DJI products or looking to purchase DJI products.

The forum has pretty much been a friendly place and that's what it's supposed to be. With the thousands of new users who've purchased the Mavic started complaining with late shipping, when orders started shipping 5 days late. I do understand the lack of communication, payment up front and other issues. The latest announcement addresses these things.

We have let the members vent here as we understand their frustration. We've gone so far as to let them post their constant DJI negativity as a courtesy BUT you must post and comply with the DJI Forum Rules.
Many have been banned as their postings started to become totally aggressive and verbal attacks on with other forum members or to the staff and being counter productive to what this forum is intended for and they cannot comply with the forum rules.

Again, we've let you vent your frustrations but in time the aggressive posts will no longer be tolerated.
If all you want to do is to keep producing negative posts and have nothing of value to add to the forum then your posts will be deleted and you will be warned. If you continue, then you will be banned, it's as simple as that.
The negativity has gone on for a while now and it will not go on for much longer.
Whatever negative comments everyone has to say, has already been said hundreds of times in the forum and it needs to stop.
If all you want to do is post negativity, then please to it on another outlet.

Allegations required evidence.  You can not produce something without any support than ask people for proof it's wrong.  That's not how the rules of evidence function.  If you believe the hoax email - show proof.  Saying "you can't prove its NOT true" is completely invalid.

DJI said multiple times it was a hoax.  They were contacted by DroneCo and specifically said it was a hoax.  Of course, you would have to actually do research to know that.  It's much easier to just complain though right?

I've never said DJI is "shipping thousands a day".  I have said I estimated around 1400 a day.  That's just based on their sales numbers though.

Look dude, bottom line, people like you ruin this forum.  This is for support - it's to help people.  If you want to complain, just call DJI.  Email them.  PM DJI.  Do anything other than what you are doing right now.  I don't go in and comment on every complaint post, just the ones that are pushing a false narrative and lying.  I worked in retail, I hate people that do that.

Honestly when I read that, I felt so bad for GoPro.  The Karma & Hero 5 have to sell REALLY WELL, or they are done for.  It's sad - competition is important.  That being said - I was also surprised at how much they are worth.

When people are banned, is because their posts are all over the forum in different threads with the same thing.
It's pretty simple, follow the rules of the forum and post accordingly.
Remember, this is the DJI forum and owned by DJI and you need to follow DJI rules.
If you want to make posts that do not comply then go post on another forum.
How hard is that to understand.Search the threads and see the hundreds and hundreds of posts about complaints with shipping/charging and whatever else.

Actually tbh they've made one of the most beautiful drones ever created, sold hundreds of thousands, made millions/billions in the process and whilst doing all this, they're getting away with the delays, lack of communication, issues with the Mavic and the worst customer service ever known for such a high end product.

Really now? We're going to blame dji because they don't have stock? And we have to cancel the orders because someone or some people they are going to have the mavic with a month delay? And how about when Apple delays the iPhone for 4 - 5 weeks? Then we can wait because it's a multi billion company and we don't have any problem to wait for the iPhone!
