Hi guys I got my OSMO+ yesterday, updated the firmware, and did an extended ‘talking head’ recording test to check that the lip sync problem, noted in some reviews, had been corrected.

  
  

Basically I played a talking head video with good lip sync on a monitor and had the OSMO+ record the monitor at 4K 30P. I had the following results:

  
  

1.     No lip sync problems.

  

2.     The OSMO+ disables the cooling fan while recording. This caused the camera to overheat and stop recording after 25 minutes (ambient 72 degrees F). QUESTION: Is it possible to change to a mode where the cooling fan is not automatically disabled?

  

3.     The OSMO+ splits a long recording into multiple files. When these files are spliced together there is a discontinuity of several frames between each file which translates into jumps in the video. QUESTION: Is there a fix for this?

Sorry, no. There's currently no solution for this

Regarding question (2), I believe that is possible to disable Fan Mute when recording on Audio settings, but will keep the fan running, making videos with noise.
