I opened a case with DJI and I'm sending my Mavic in anyway this week but thought I'd take it out for a spin. Numerous times during my hour or so of flight, the obstacle avoidance kicked in when nothing was anywhere near it - I'm talking nothing for hundreds of feet. Has anyone has this happen?

The sun will effect the sensors, were you flying at the sun? It may also have been a cloaked ufo

LOL!!! I did notice it happened while flying in the sun's direction, although sometimes it was facing the opposite direction.

I wonder if my crash last weekend jarred one of the sensors and caused an internal issue.

Recalibrate the VSS system via the assistant 2 App.

Yep, had the same issue a couple times. Once toward that sun (which kind of makes sense it could be sun related) and once opposite direction of the sun. Both at altitude (120 m) clear skies no obstacles in sight. Clean sensors, etc.
