Hi all,

Max distance question, so ihave tried to change the max distance value, it states you can set it anywhere between 15-8000m, but will not let put in a value more than 5000

I put in 7000m but it automatically reverts back to 5000M

any help with be appreciated.

Did you disable the flight distance limit toggle?

What mobile device you are using? Only values below than 5000 can be saved, right?
Would you please provide a screenshot here? and how about the firmware for aircraft?

Correct.....only values 5000m and below will be saved, if i try to do say 6000m, it automatically reverts back to 5000m.

All software is up to date as of Oct. 6th 2016.

Device being used is iphone 6s.

5000m is just over 3 miles so there has to be a way to increase the max distance value in order for the Mavic to reach it's stated max distance of just over 4 miles

simply turn distance limit off in go-app

We will improve it in the next version, thanks for your feedback.
You could change it on Android devices if convenient.

Odd  - I have distance Limit enabled and it allows anything from 15-8000m to be saved. So all good here.

if you do the update, it will no longer let you go over the 5000m

Have they changed their literature to reflect this limitation in distance from what was originally told?

Thought I had done all the updates.  
EDIT yes just checked I have latest 01.02.0810 firmware and 3.0.1 android app. My max distance is happily set at 8000m. Not that I have any intention of going anywhere near that ATM.
