This is about the first video that show exactly the problem happening to other people as well.
Really would like to know some things about your Mavic:
-How long do you have it, when received?
-Was this the first flight with the Mavic?
-Updated with software that has been released yesterday, everything is updated?
-What calibrations did you do before taking of the first time?

If you have the newest firmware it will make me even more nervous to fly

Hi lignow, may I know what's the current firmware of your aircraft?
Please upgrade it to v01.02.0900, calibrate it then fly again.

I think when he said at 14:40 into video

"works perfect now"

"Maybe we needed to do that calibration of the sticks"

"I never did it so must have"

Another user error due to non calibration

anyone else screaming at the video when they cant work out how to complete the calibrations. Watching the line complete was painful.

I asked the owner of the video about firmware on the youtube page. Here is his response.

"It was definitely lower then v01.01.0900. It was upgraded to this version today at lunch before I saw this question. Hopefully this new release helps with the prior issue. Brian plans to do a recalibration as well before the first flight on the firmware. Unfortunately I wont be there for the first flight on this release."

I'd like to point out that this is not a "read the instruction manual" problem. The manual does not say anything about calibrating the remote control. The manual doesn't tell you when to do it or how to do it. It doesn't even tell you that calibrating the remote is an option.

Hello. That was not my video. Sorry for no clarification of this post. all my Phantoms work great.

Can't believe some of the people who do not know what the heck they are doing.....IE VIDEO ABOVE
