Does anyone know if DJI's event tomorrow with the potential release of the Insolpire 2 is going to be live streamed? I can't seem to find any information on that.

I think the special announcement will be another delay I Mavic Pro order...just kidding.

Not sure, all I've been able to find is they sent out invitations to a Special Announcement event that goes on tomorrow in LA. All speculation around it is the release of the Inspire 2. Maybe they aren't planning a live stream? Not as much interest as the Mavic would have because it'll be 3 times as much money?

I found a time. On the the banner of DJI's YouTube page it says 10:30 PST. Not sure if they will be streaming or not though, still can't find any info on that.

Their website says 11:30 PST...  They'll link the stream from there.
Edit:  Maybe it says 11:30 PST on the site because that's when new products go live, as opposed to the launch presentation.

Is a mistake. Today was supposed to be Mavic release. I think DJI forgot to take the ad down.

The demand for an Inspire 2 will not be anywhere near what the Mavic has.

Head's up guys - insider info on the announcement...

Apparently the new product is called the DJI PRE-PRE-order. The idea is you can order and pay weeks in advance before the pre-orders are even in production. They've been trialling it with the Mavic apparently.

Its hard to justify DJI releasing a new product when they can't even keep up production for their current lineup.

Sadly this type of management is almost expected from this company.

It is the new pre-post-order. You pay first then they ship it out to someone else that paid later first. Also they are introducing the non-chronological first come first serve.

I keep thinking I have the patience to deal with DJI, but then they test it again.

Here is a screenshot from their YouTube page.  Is the event at 10:30am or 11:30am?  Even they don't know.

They advertise 10:30 (Oct 15th) but in reality it's 11:30 (December 2016).

Their website has always been saying 11:30 PST...  Such terrible communication from DJI.

It was originally at 10:30, but they had an issue integrating a part of the stage and had to push it back to 11:30pst. They'll be releasing an apology soon, as well as an explanation along the lines of "the demand to stream our amazing new product release parties has been so overwhelming that we've had to delay the event and we hope to be able to stream in the next 6-8 weeks".

They should start streaming today... mainly to Apple and Best Buy... after that - resellers and finally to use. We can watch it on December 18th.

There is no indication that they are actually streaming it, I hope they do though.

Yea, doesn't look like any of these are pre-order, you can buy now and have it in a week or two. Anyone canceling and going with the P4 pro? Obstacle avoidance from all sides.

What is the point of releasing a new product if you can't deliver it?  Anyone can make product announcements.

What about size?

Phantom 4 was already "the right size," so for me yes.  

Any ideas when it will be available to get at best buy?! I'm gonna cancel my mavic order and get the P4p. And if I hate the size I'll return it before the end of Feb. And get the mavic. Maybe by then the bugs will be out
