So I've bought 4 batteries since the Inspire came out. One TB48 got bricked by, well by it just sitting on my shelf. One 47 swelled up and quit. So now this morning I planned on helping a friend out and shooting some aerials of his property... TB48 dead, no lights, nothing. A TB47 doing the 2 blink on green nearest the button (presumably "overcurret" error).

This is so maddening and ridiculous. I can't believe I've spent almost $4000 with DJI to put up with this. The last time I tried to get warranty service for a battery it was 4 MONTHS before my emails were returned. 4 MONTHS.

I can't even update my damn charging hub because none of my machines (XP, 10, or Mac) will recognise the stupid thing, not that the update would likely fix anything else.

Sorry, rant over. Can you believe they are selling these things in Best Buy now? At least maybe we'll have a class action to join.

Unbelievable.

How long have they been sitting? Inspire batts do not like to sit for any length of time. The on board charge controller will discharge the pack regardless of being on or off. It is important to maintain at least 60% charge on the packs.

A few weeks. This is not ok for batteries that cost $200 a piece, regardless of what seems to have become an acceptance of this ridiculousness. $800 worth of batteries now, nice.

No. Apparently their website is built as well as their batteries.

I'm sorry you are experiencing difficulties.
Have you tried to charge the TB48 for about 1 hours?
If still no lights, I think you need to send it in for further evaluation.
And could you please make a short video of the TB47? I'll help to check it.

Mindy, yes I've tried to charge both the 47 and 48. Neither will turn on, they just flash the green led nearest the button in groups of 2. The 48 is only a few months old, unsure how old the 47 is. Where do I post a video?

Posted video of both batteries here: Dead batteries

Please refer the the image.
LED4 blinks twice per second means the charging temperature is too low.

Does the same thing happen if you dont use the Hub ? . Have you tried a force charge ?  simply turn the battery to on while it is plugged in to the charger.  Dont use the Hub for this .

Yes, same thing without hub. Yes, tried "force charge". Tried every procedure I could find on this forum that worked for someone else.

Wish DJI's support was better than "the battery must be too cold". Not helpful.

These batteries are so good they abandoned them for the Inspire 2. Speaks volumes.
