Transmission signal weak?

Hey guys looking for some help or direction on these week transmission signal.  I have read all your post on theses issues and it seems we have the same problems.  Weak or little signal, the phantom even though has strong rc signal may have weak transmission signal.  This causes the phantom to become disconnected or the video feed choppy , green screen,  black screen.  I am using a iPad mini, current DJI go app, and also just did the latest firmware update.  It's kinds funny after I did this update I had nothing but problems .

Could you please clarify which Phantom model you have and your current firmware version of aircraft and RC?
Please record a video of the transmission issue if convenient.

I'm having this issue too. Brand brand new Phantom 4 purchased about a month ago, same firmware and DJI Go app versions as @jklimowicz-sp. I have a new iPad Mini 3 that I purchases specifically for use with the drone.

I'd like to see a resolution for this.

At the moment I cannot send a video weather has been poor.  I am more concerned with why I have very low to any signal at times.  I still have great rc signal strength but when the video transmission drops out the phantom returns back to home?

Hi Mindi,

I'll try to do so on my next flight when weather permits. I'll also have to use an external camera for capturing the screen on my ipad as I can't seem to find any means to record the screen, which is quite annoying.

Here's some video from some of the last fights. I was livestreaming this, but just as the video glitches in the link here, it also glitched on the tablet. The video saved to the SD card however is fine, it's just the video transmission. Each time the video glitches, the DJI Go app would display weak transmission signal messages. Livingstreaming was through a Verizon Mifi and wifi connection with the tablet.

I've had other flights where I lose signal all together forcing me to bring the UAV back by sight only.

I have a screen capture app for my Android devices but have yet to find one for iPad. Admittedly though, this is my first Apple device and if my Samsung S7 worked (before the firmware update on Nov. 8) before, I would have not every purchased it.

I can understand it must be frustrating.
Please make sure you do not have any programs running in the background while your next flight. And you can enter transmission settings to check if there's interference around.

Having the same issue with my ipad mini.  The problem came with go app 3.1.0.
Using Inspire pro. Hope there will come a fix.

HI Guys, I have exactly the same issues with my DJI 4. I tried my Samsung tablet and mobile phone Samsung S7, both the fastest devices available today.
Choppy image feed, purple bars, black bars, black screens..
I am flying over sea and over a low WiFi and mobile phone signal area. I cant change the channels to manual..

I also noticed that DJI still without fixing the issue with the galaxy 7 Edge that still restart again and again and again...

I post some pics of the  video transmition  issue





I hope DJI will fix this problem soon as possible because I'm working with this drone... I noticed that the issue appeared just after the new update, may be the new firmware has some problem...

I have the same problem too. Very very frustrating as it happens when i was out on a job, in the middle of nowhere. A 15 acre farm and getting those green lines. You cant say this is interference. Its your update dji. Either the rc or the app or something. It wasnt like this before.

I have the same problem. Тhe problem got started early November, when APP is updated. Now I`m afraid to update the drone so as not to become ill.  App ver.3.1.0   / aircraft ver. 01.02.0503  / remote controller  ver.1.8.0

@emilexx What do you mean? I have a standard remote for my inspire pro. Have someone addressed this issue to @dji ? I use my iphone 6 with an older version of Dji now. That works perfect, but the screen is to small.

I installed the HDMI module on my P4P and I'm getting these results but I need the HDMI out for clients to  see shots on a groundstation.
