For the new remote controller that comes with the phantom 4 pro+ remote controller with the HDMI output. What is the maximum resloution for the HDMI output from the remote controller?

I would expect 1080, wouldn't be any higher because the phantom isn't transmitting any higher than that.

     So the only real advantage for the built in screen with the P4 Pro + (Plus) is the 1000 cd/m2 brightness benefit.  Well, I guess that is an unfair statement because the screen / display runs on the DJI version of Android and promises some system benefits to.  But visually, only the new CrystalSky 5.5" display (and the other two) will have the 1080p and higher resolutions?

     This gets into the USB vs HDMI question.  Wait, there is no USB connection between the P4 Pro + (Plus) screen and the remote controller.  It is built in.  The USB is only if you want to run an alternative device / display and that will shut off the built in display (or so we are told).  

     Apparently, the P4 Pro + (Plus) HDMI module is exactly like the HDMI module sold for P3P, P3A, P4, Inspire and P4 Pro systems in that it is limited to 720p resolution.  Well, that is important information.  But wait, will the built in connection for the P4 Pro + (Plus) between the built in screen and the remote controller provide a non-HDMI 1080p resoluion?  That is also an important question.

     Sorry to get so disjointed here, but this whole concept is not normal.  Figuring it all out is a real challenge!  Lucky, I like a challenge!

What framerate is the 720P output from the remote hdmi. Is is 30 or 60 frames?

It would be great to have an higher bit-rate on the HDMI output than the one from the P3, it would be really important if we want to work in live broadcast, is there a way the know the output bit-rate on the P4Pro? Are there any improvements?

Wow so the output is less than the screen resolution!  Wish I would have known that before ordering.

You could have if you had studied the specs on the web site, DJI are not exactly hiding the information.

4K/30fps, 1080/60fps all progressive.

Over the specs many times. I thought I read 1080p not the 780p.

So if I understand well, there are two HDMI modules now? The 'old' 720p module and a newer 1080p+ module? Will DJI have this new HDMI module sold separately in the future?

sorry but i don't find that on the screen of the P4P+
i just have AUTO (in gray) i cannot choose anything else.
where do you find it.

Another question, i dont want to have IOSD information on the hdmi video output (for live broadcast) do you have a solution to display it (just in the hdmi signal not on the screen) ?

My issue with the HDMI signal out is that you dont have the option to "only get the video" and not all other information on the screen. This is an option on the Inspire.

That toggle was removed among others some months ago.

Both the R/c and A/C have to be on to turn OSD off.
Probably too late a reply.

The P4 camera does not support interlaced video at all, only progressive.

oh my.. found a good deal for a used unit, planning to hookup to my ATEM switcher which is on 1080-50i. what a bummer.

Any other experiences attempting interlaced hdmi out on P4P+?
So the only option is for me get the Mavic 2 Pro with Smart Controller.. proven interlaced output
