Hi.
I have never used the DJI online store before.
I was wondering if the tax invoice i will get from DJI will allow me to claim back tax in Australia with TRS? I will be travelling shortly (hopefully with a P4P) and would appreciate any feedback if anyone from Australia has been able to claim back the tax using a DJI store issued invoice.
Many thanks.
PS: Sorry if this is posted in the incorrect forum.
I dont think a tax invoice from DJI online is any different from another retailer. I know of someone who claimed their Drone back using another retailers invoice no problems.

Seeing as any DJI drone is going to exceed $1,000 then it is not going to be exempt from GST on an overseas purchase anyway.
Sounds like he's a traveller wanting to get the GST back when he leaves the country
TRS = Tourist Refund Scheme

Hi, have you got your GST refunded? I plan to buy from DJI website as well, not sure about the Australian tax invoice. Thanks
Sorry, DJI does not issue a tax invoice suitable for TRS purposes. Even if you buy the drone direct from DJI.com and select Australia, the order will still be fulfilled by their warehouse in Shenzhen, China.

thanks for this info. Then I'd better buy it from a retail store (JB or Harvey Norman), then claim GST back when go overseas.
