Hi,

Took the Mavic along for one of the first days skiing of this season with some friends. Pretty pleased with the result for a first outing. One day I may even learn to edit :-)
This raw footange simply imported into Final Cut Pro. I let FC do the auto color balance and thats it.
Mavic is going to be in my pack everday day of this season :-)

Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Except for the first sequence which was POI, everyrthing else was hand flown. Problem with tracking is that it does not track the downhill so you end up with the skier getting further and further away, which mind you can possibly give a nice effect as well.

This was back country but accessible via ski lift with a short 15-20min hike out.

What was air temp?

Very nice. I'll be taking mine skiing as well.   I just had my Mavic flying at 14,000 over Mt. Democrat here in Colorado. Which area were you skiing at?

Temp was probably a few below 0C with a chill factor of a little more since it was a little windy at altitude...

Any issues with loss of GPS signal and switching to ATTI mode?

I had no issues and, knock on wood, have experienced nothing which would make me feel uneasy.

How are you launching it in the snow and what camera settings are you using?
