Page 7 lists the lens's that will work on the X5.

what about Olympus M.Zuiko 9-18mm/4.0-5.6 its compatible with the x5s but not the x5???

If it's not in the list, it's not compatible.

The X5S and X5 are very different cameras, so it's possible.
