Hi All , I am just new to flying The Phantom 2 Vision Plus but do have some experience with RC aircraft I have noticed a couple of times that as I turn the P2V that I lose GPS signal ? anyone got the same problem and is there a fix out there , Would this prevent the failsafe fly back home ?

Also my phone seems to freeze quite a lot leaving just a static image on the phone although that is not what the P2V is looking at ? My phone was in Airplane mode so should be no external problem , again anyone got any ideas ?

Here are two websites I use to track satellites before I head out flying: http://www.spectraprecision.com/ ... 876.kjsp?RH=PRUFWMP & http://satpredictor.navcomtech.com I was using the satpredictor website then someone brought the spectraprecision one to my attention. In tracking satellites the Spectra Precision one seems to be a bit more accurate in my opinion. In any event I like to check them both before I head out. Additionally when I arrive at my flying location I like to double check the satellites in the area. I am using an android device. The app I use is called: GPS Staus & Toolbox. Additionally it pays to keep an eye on the K-Index. The app I use for that is called: K-Index monitor (Android). You can also monitor the K-Index on the NOAA Website at: http://www.swpc.noaa.gov

Thanks I had 9/10 sats just before turning so it was nothing to do with the sats in the area but thanks for the info anyway , appreciated
just waiting on my copper tape etc. to see if that makes a difference
