There's a new DJI Go 4 app specifically for the Mavic, Phantom 4 Pro, and Inspire 2...

This is separate from the DJI Go app.

I've just installed it and hope the map not following aircraft issue has been resolved...

Also installed it, in the other forum for the Mavic someone stated it is THE software for us to use with the Mavic going forward.

Is DJI Go 3 being considered mature for the P4 and older products?

Just curious if development resources will primarily shift to DJI GO 4.

Everything looks the same to me. I don't see what makes this a version upgrade from 3 to 4.

Isnt it much smaller (MByte) ?
I guess they got rid of all the legacy crap.
Should be more efficient, maybe even runs faster on older devices again (gotta check).
Of course there will be the odd bug added in the beginning, but HEY, we are all BETA Testers for DJI considering their QC record lately

Had to type it in complete DJI GO 4  and then do a search and it came up, at the bottom of the items listed,  not in order,  and I could down load,  will check it out in a few days,  nothing but rain in the north west,,,    thanks for the help everyone

Has it imported you previous flight history?  About to install it on mine and in advance have made backup of my phones ..S7\Phone\DJI\dji.pilot\FlightRecord folder. It contains all 100+ flights and I am guessing I will be able to copy the folder contents to the equivalent place in the new apps tree to restore them all.

has not imported flt records,  not sure if it will,   if you transfer yours, could you explain how,  only have a few,  but would like to keep them,   have both apps on phone now,

futher update,  hit the sync cloud, and all the past records now show on my phone,,, hope that helps

Good one, mine do too. Although I still have my records spread between three instances of the same aircraft living on the DJI servers which is a bit of a mess.  I see new editing tool. Hope it is better than the last.

This post reported in the other forum that the new DJI Go 4 has the SAME MAP PROBLEM where the map DOES NOT follow the aircraft.  

Can't DJI just fix the problem already?  Guess I'm back to using DJI Go 3.0.1 until this bug gets fixed... I just don't feel comfortable not knowing on the map where the Mavic is in relation to me, and which way is "Home"...
