1. All-in-One firmware version updated to v1.10.90.
2. DJI GO app iOS version updated to v3.1.0.      
3. DJI GO app Android version updated to v3.1.0.

What’s New?

1. Optimized Flight Restriction Zone management by deleting flight restrictions for some abandoned airports.
2. Optimized HDR+RAW format photos.
3. Improved motor performance to prevent occasional overheating resulting from a motor stall.
4. Slowed motor stopping time to three seconds during flight.

Cannot roll back the firmware version after upgrading to v1.10.90.

You sure this is the safe to update?
If cannot downgrade back to previous firmware what happen if this latest firmware not stable to fly?

We know no problem for the upgrade step, we need to know got any issue for the fly or not!

How about flight and video transition? Any glitches?

No problems for flight or map and video.  Im in a restricted zone,  the zone is smaller now.  That's a small difference.

I have work also.  But no problems during 16min flight.  

tried installing the update on my P3P - it makes the beep beep beep beep when installing, then I get a continuous non stop beep - the only way to stop it is to turn the drone off...... restarted the install, and it did it again, only this time it got to the continuous beep in about 30 seconds......

format sd card en add the file with full battery.  good luck!

downgrade to anyversion you want, easy we do it all the time. open the shell remove the main board, cut glue on internal sd card glued to bottom of main board, throw it away or format it your choice.  we install 8 gig for more flight log storage capacity. Either way with your new or formatted card in and reglued with silicon NOT HOT GLUE, reassemble drone. stick your firmware bin file on a seperate sd card and insert into gimbal. firmware must not be   downloaded from dji, all theirs will ad a + to the version label indicating its modified for altitude limit, no fly zones ect.... search around or contact me and I can possibly help you with an unmodified, non dji molested firmware version of your choice. I have em all.... be sure to do your transmitter and batteries too. well batteries wont matter on downgrade. if you downgrade far enough besure to remove djigo and find a dji pilot app download... questions about the procedure then this aint for you inwhich case contact me lol happy unrestricted flying!!!

i have a successfull upgrade but havent fly it yet. I have checked the aircraft version in dji app ... ver 1.9.60+.. not 1.10.90....anyone got the same version or diffrent

Formatted the SD card, and put the updated .bin file onto it, and got a successful update, everything is working as it should - haven't had chance to do a test flight yet....

For these battery updates, i presume I have to put in all 3 batteries that I have with the update SD card inserted in the gimbal to update them?

On a brighter note, my Samsung S7 Edge is now talking to everything, which has been a major issie for many users recently!!

Updated finished and get ver 1.9.60+ in the DJI Go app

Same situation I have as yourself regarding the firmware for the aircraft, I guess this must me normal then.
I have had a test flight and everything seems fine regarding the new aircraft firmware, however after the upgrade myself the aircraft feels smoother to handle in GPS mode let me know if this is the same for you.

Hi Scotty!,

I liked your approach. Is there any tutorial link for doing the downgrade through replacing the glued SD card? I will love to try it. Right now I am very happy with my P3A on 1.53+ and RC on 1.6.

Strange..  Feels smoother.   No problem after update.  Perfect connections and flight time.

Be wary of rushing to update where no added features are being rolled out, or where there are no fixes on the grounds of safety or bugs.  Even more so when you're told that you can't roll it back. DJI are notorious for sneaking in 'features' that piss off their customers who then have no option but to continue using it in the new form. They've done it before, they'll do it again. DJI take the attitude that these are their drones, you should count yourself lucky to be able to fly them. The update isn't for your benefit, it's for theirs.

If your current F/W version works fine, no reason to rush into updating it. You're not gaining anything.  Leave it a few weeks and then, assuming no major problems reported, go ahead if you want to. You're not missing out on anything in the interim, except the risk that your beloved drone isn't quite as good as it once was.

Yes; Intelligent Flight Modes not working, image transmission unusable. Was working fine before.

Did it yesterday on my P3A. Everything is now up to date on controller and IPad mini. Did an IMU calibration after and verified settings. All was well.
FYI: It was a long update with several reboots. Remember it's successfully finished when the little LED light on the front of the gimbal stays solid green.
Took it out at the blue hour last night running the Go app and then changed midair to Litchi and ran this WP mission. Then switched back to Go app and landed. Everything was perfect. Except the occasional tilted horizon, which it looks like they will never correct.
