Quick question.

Do you guys keep the gimbal clamp installed every time the mavic is stored away and only remove it before turning on when preparing to fly?

Or does the constant installing/removing of the clamp every time do more harm than good?

I put it on only when traveling. Otherwise, if I'm done flying and it's gonna rest on the shelf, I leave it off.

Flying - Off.
Packed away - On.

(you will lose it!!)

When Mavic is on, clamp is off
When Mavic is off, clamp is on.

I carry/stow my Mavic in my camera bag, so there is a need to have the clamp on.

When Mavic is off, clamp is on

I keep it a habit to always put on the clamp after done with the flight so that I always remember to take off the clamp before flying.
