My Mavic is scheduled for delivery next Monday. Due to my work schedule and the fact that I live alone I cant be here to accept delivery unless I take a day off of work. Its a small town and we have no FedEx walkin facility here. I have gotten deliverys from Apple and they have a page to print out to presign for the delivery. I see this mentioned on the FedEx website, but cannot find a way to do it. Any help from anyone on how to actually do this so I can come home to my Mavic?

Mine from Apple didn't require a signature.  You sure

Just have the package directed to a FedEx Hold location. That way you can pick it up anytime after 10 on Monday.  Just register with FedEx on their site.  Then access delivery manager.  It will list all shipments to and from your address.  Just customize that one to your nearest FedEx location.

Its  not from Apple, I just used that as an example of something I had presigned for. Unfortunately the nearest FedEx facility is 100 miles away.

I ordered from DJI.

It doesn't have to be a regular FedEx location, just a merchant who holds fedex packages...like the UPS store, fedex/kinkos...etc.

Pre sign and note agreeing to leave at door.  But call FedEx first make sure it's ok and give the delivery guy a heads up

I may be able to do this, a local merchant packages and ships FedEx and UPS, I'll give them a call.

Just call FedEx and give them your zip code and ask what hold locations they have in the area.

When I click on the tracking number, and select "customize delivery" the selection to deliver to another address is greyed out, i.e. I cannot select it

are you sure you are going to the right section.  Should go to Delivery Manager...click shipment and it will list Hold at FedEx location...not deliver to another address

"Hold at FedEx location" is also greyed out. All of the selections on the left side of the screen are greyed  out. Maybe they will change when the package gets to the US. Very frustrating, a long wait to get shipped and now this.

I just received my flymore pack from fedex today in California. I was told by fedex if it's grayed  out, it's not available for that shipment. I got lucky and my wife was home when it came. I had a similar experience and took the tag off the door and picked it up at the local fedex after work. My Mavic came a day early also and was well packed, clean and no scuffs or dings of any kind. No dust in the camera either. Can't fly till tomorrow though.

In transit, but not in the US yet.

You can have a neighbor you trust sign for you, just need to tell FedUP oops fedex.  I was not home to get my Mav the first day and the package delivery note they leave on your door has a place for you to sign so you don't have to be home for the next day delivery.  Just need to be wary of those theives, now that Christmas is coming.

Same here...Wanted to pre sign buy option greyed out...Thought about calling Cust. Service but haven't gotten around to it.

I have thought the same thing that maybe once it arrives in Memphis it will give the option to pre sign.

Always seems funny for a package to go all the way to Memphis when it will just turn around and go back west to AZ.

again, I think their pre signing is after an unsecessfull firstr delivery, and they leave that notice on the door.  You pre sign that notice and the next day they will leave the package.

So my fail more combo that was supposed to show up monday ended up trying to be delivered today by Fedex.  They notified me of the delivery 10 minutes into the delivery time window....No heads up! I was working so I tried to get home in time but missed the f'ing truck by 2 minutes according to door tag!

Completely screwed up the rest of my days schedule because I rescheduled everything on my way home to get shipment....bitch bitch bitch....Just fits with the entire shopping experience thus far!  Why would they tell me 12/5 and then deliver 12/2 with no advanced notice?   I think DJI and Fedex must be related!  Very poor scheduling!

The same thing happened here. Was scheduled for delivery on Mon. Got an email that it was not the truck for delivery today! I hadn't made any arrangements to have it delivered to my neighbor. Thankfully Im 10 min away, drove there on my lunch break, asked the neighbor and left a note for FedEx, and made it back to work with time to spare, it was delivered about 30 min later.
