Hi DJI, this has gone on long enough.

The geo tags are not working on x series cameras

Please respone ASAP telling us when you will have this fixed.

DJI already know about this and I have been asking that they sort this out asap. I've already lowt work because of this. There's loads others asking why suck a simple fix hasn't been sorted out yet.

What if feels like is DJI is intentionally doing this so that industrial users like us who can provide the suppor that DJI can't are losing business to inspires and phantoms....

You should join DJI's Industrial Facebook group. DJI reps in there and they are aware of it. They are chasing DJI for a fix which they have said is coming.

Barry from DJI has posted an update about this issue. DJI engineers are looking at a fix now. Hopefully it should take too long.

He's also requested some image samples on the Facebook page if you have a look. Sending them off the engineers.

I did not see that, I am not big into facebook.... so I likely miss a lot of this stuff. I can send sample images from an X3 and a Z3 if they want.

sorry I am trying to dig through and find where they ask for the photos. can you please send me a link or an email to send the photos to? I would like to help in any way I can

No you'll not need datalink pro. The GPS fix is in testing apparently. Will be out very soon.

I've not tried myself yet, but the update for this will be going live today so I am told!

does anyone has tested it yet with and without D-RTK?

and if so how big is the delay of the recording to the capture time of the meta-data?

@DJI-Support feel free to answer my question was not only to DJI-Customer...

The Server is up again. I have installed the new A3 firmware. Brake is now decreaseable down to 20. They have added a shutter channel. This allows a pwm signal up to 20 seconds.

Finally! I have been searching for info on this. We are an industrial user that "upgraded" our S1000 from an A2 to the A3 and the integration has been difficult to say the least. The frame and motors are about the only things being used again.

So how do we access the GPS tag file? I assume it's another CSV file for input into programs like PIX4D?

sorry this was for the X series of camera's the photo is already tagged with gps information when you remove the SD card and you just load it into the PIX 4d software.

Of course as you know it's not going to produce accurate repeatable survey data but it's great for pretty picture maps

however apparently it does log gps positions on board so that you can retrieve this information and geo tag photos taken with other non DJI camera's

I do not no know how to go about doing this though
