Having bad luck with P4Pro.  Two days and haven't gotten to fly it yet.

Firmware updated.  Finally got IMU to calibrate by leaving it in the cold for a while first.

I can not get the gimbal to calibrate.  When powered on the gimbal just points at the ground.  When I choose auto-calibration it I get a message that says:

"tips: start gimbal calibration 6%, don't move the aircraft"

I have left it in this state for over an hour with no change.  Restarted drone/controller/app many times and attempted again.  No luck.

Ideas?

Update: I got the gimbal auto-calibration to complete, but it has had no effect.  Then I just manually grabbed the camera and twisted it on its various axis of motion and it snapped into place correctly.... so... that is concerning.

Have you tried to restart the aircraft and do the gimbal calibration again?
Still stuck in 6%?

Yeah I have tried the gimbal calibration about 100 times, on multiple batteries, at multiple temperatures.  It did succeed once but the gimbal is still broken.  Assuming it is a hardware problem.

I got my P4P+ V2.0 for two days now.
My gimbal stucks at 50%.
Same thing. Tried several times. Restarted. Reinstalled current firmware.
Really sad. I spend 2000 Euros and got a broken drone :-(

Plus my controller wants to update all the time though every soft- or firmware is current...

My rookie mistake when I bought mine was not seeing that little protection pad that wraps around the gimbal the first time I flew.  Good thing I didn't burn it out.  
I have had a couple of occasions where the gimbal calibration would freeze at about 50%.  I simply restarted it and tried the calibration over again, and it completed the next time around.  Best of luck to you!

The little protection pad was removed right from the start.
And I tried several times.

When I come back to Germany I'll send it to DJI.
