You may find some clues in the flight record.
Go to http://www.phantomhelp.com/LogViewer/Upload/
Follow the instructions to upload your flight record.

Otherwise DJI can look at the onboard flight data recorder to tell what happened.

That looks like a gimbal guard in the photo?

If so then it saw that below it and thought it was on the ground so shut off the motors - not an aircraft fault so not a warrantee issue.

to activate CSC you have to press stick all the way down and to the left, and press RTH button as well, as stated in manual.
So it would be quite hard.

Thanks for all feedback . Sorry my pic was misleading . There was. I gimbal guard installed during my flight , however when I took the pic I actually install the gimbal guard on it as I don't hv space in my bag to pack it separately

If you upload the log file to http://www.phantomhelp.com/LogViewer/Upload/ , can you give us a link so that we can see what happened please?

I'm a bit surprised to see 1 arm broken, normally when they loose power they land on their landing gear, not on 1 arm, maybe it didn't actually loose power?  Or did it hit something on the way down?

Post the link to the flight log.  I'm really interested to see if that gimbal guard had anything to do with it.
